They need to set up a live video feed of the MINIs being loaded onto the ship.

After tracking my August 05 production MINI to the VDC only to learn last week that it was damaged beyond release (I'm a wee bit traumatized still but I won't go into that), I'm now tracking its replacement with an October production date. So far I don't have anything more specific than that...just wanted to make my mark on the thread. I'm not sure how closely I'll track this one...I got pretty attached watching the other one go through its steps :(

Same here. on the Madame Butterfly due to arrive in Halifax on the 26th. I'm in Winnipeg so I should get my JCW Mini a day or two sooner than Calgary-I'll post something as soon as it gets to the Peg.

Just checked AISLive and it shows Topaz ray in New York!!! Now I have to wait for Mini of the Hamptons to get and then have it trucked to me on the west coast to Las Vegas. I already purchased $1500 in parts for it.

I need to read the last few pages of this thread... I just found out that my cooper was built last friday (the 14th) and is at the pier and ready to come to Halifax, and then to Ottawa.

Anyone else on that timetable? How does one in Canada find out what ship they will be on?

Man! I'm trying to contain myself but thinking that my cooper might be here this coming Tuesday is driving me nuts. I was going to call the Dealer and get a status but I'll wait till Monday. I hope to be motoring the rest of the week folks. I'll make sure to post pics. I'm going crazy with excitement! I wish everyone on the October production group could meet once we ALL have our MINI's.

Just go to the WW site, and type in your VIN. It should be booked on a ship by now.

I was just looking at the National Hurricane Center website and it appears that Wilma will hit the Halifax area on Wednesday when two WW ships will be coming in. I'm assuming the colder waters towards the north will weaken the storm so hopefully this won't have any effect on the MINI's journey.

In 12 hours I will be picking up Stitch (MC Space Blue, Silver Roof) at the dealership. I can't wait. I was hoping yesterday was the delivery date, but it seems the dealership "didn't have enough technicians to give it a clean bill of health." Oh well, just one more night's sleep and Stitch and I can wreak havoc in the streets of DC.

Ah ha! I have discovered that my cooper has also been loaded on the Madame Butterfly, which is apparently still due in Halifax on the 26th... wow!

So, with thanks to loosecannon and minivee, I will apparently get mine within a few weeks, as I'm in Ottawa. I suppose the next steps are that ocean mapping site, and then trying to guess at Via's schedule. ;)

Let me know if you find the Madame Butterfly on the Oceantracking website as I've had no luck. Either way its arriving in two days so I suppose it doesn't really matter. As for the rail transport I believe VIA is passenger rail so it will be CN rail. I've searched their website and can't find any info that would be of use to us. Your MA should be able to track the rail journey for you though. Make sure you don't forget to post here when you get your MINI so us Calgarians, Winnipegers and anyone else can have an idea where our MINIs are.

Very good points - of course it won't be on via (I take it all the time between Ottawa and Toronto, so I should have known better). I've poked around at a few sites but haven't found it yet. I suppose two days isn't long to wait, and yes, I promise to pose as soon as I hear anything! :)

Well October Production Group, I wish you ALL luck on getting your cars. Mine is here in the states and in Charelston SC. I just don't know what the status is. If it's still waiting to go through the VPC or it's on a truck on it's way to Florida. I could contact my dealer again but I don't want to be a pain. LOL The Owners Lounge on MINI USA states that estimated delivery date is the 28th of October. That's this FRIDAY!!!!

The Honor has set sail from Southampton according to WW. However also, according to WW my Mini is still "Recieved at Terminal". Hopefully it can be blamed on slackers not updating the cargo site.~ I hope I didn't get bumped. Thankfully, I have school and work to keep me occupied in the time before my S gets here.
