Offline | Yep, it's going to be a pretty full on weekend. I think tag team might be a better option as, by all accounts, I think it will end up getting pretty messy and getting spasticated on a Saturday night does not a pleasant Sunday drive make I'm going to have to try extra hard to control myself I think and make sure I leave before my carriage turns into a pumpkin ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

| Livin' the country life | It's easy, with Simon's 3 step plan. Step1. If offered a beer, opt for a shandy, if offered a wine say "I'd prefer Maison, thanks" Step2. If one has consumed a crazy amount of alcohol say 3-4 shandies, go the bread rolls. Step3. If in doubt get someone to call you away via the mobile (&/or get in Liam as a stunt double, whilst you retire) ![]() |

Offline | I don't get up to Sydney that often, so any suggestions about accomodation would be greatly appreciated. Maybe we could get a group booking, if enough people are involved. A little Canberra let invasion perhaps. ![]() |

Offline | Charmayne and I are thinking of staying at the Vibe at Milsons Point. According to www.wotif.com the rate is $150 per night, plus $16.50 for parking. Not the cheapest, but pretty good given it's location. To get anything under $100 you're looking at North Ryde or Parramatta. http://www.wotif.com/Hotel.jsp?hotel...wType=weekends |

Offline | That'll make getting too and from the Motor Show nice and easy. You can walk down the hill to Darling Harbour from Town Hall station, takes about 10 minutes, or you can catch the Monorail from Pitt street (2 blocks east of Town Hall Station). The monorail is pretty pricey though - $4.00 each way Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | I have to say though, the air-conditioning in those carriages rocks! Being a Canberran, I was struggling with the rancid humidity in Sydney last Thursday, and wearing a suit wasn't helping, but one trip in the Monorail up to the city and I was fully refreshed and ready to attack the streets of the city (/ insert visual of John Trovolta strutting down the street to the sounds of the Bee Gees Staying Alive )Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | My apologies, I was assuming he was aware there was a train station at Milsons Point and that he could catch the train to Town Hall ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |
