Offline | Help out a Kiwi To my Aussie mates. Who are you guys importing your performance gear from? I have imported an Alta CAI directly from Alta and the service/delivery etc was pretty good. But now I want to buy some other bits and pieces that Alta don't stock. So who do you guys recommend to send gear (reliably) down under? From cruising around the sponsors of MINI2 - "Out Motoring" look reasonably good. Anybody used them? Any help for a Kiwi mini fan would be appreciated. Thanks |

Offline | Yeah - tried some of those - cheers. I was interested to hear of any personal experiences- good, bad, expensive etc. There a a few options, but you wonder at times what some of these companies are like. My son is a mechanic and had a very bad experience trying to import some Honda performance parts from a company in the USA that took almost 2 grand off him then dissapeared into thin air. Thanks anyway. |

Offline | From experience, and Ive ordered from pretty much all. M7's a bit slow, but dependable Terry Sayther Automotive (Alta) is pretty good Webb is never around Pilo is good outmotoring is very good mini-madness is alright. I know you can order magnecor plugs from Oz as well as the matching 40k coils. You can also get quite a few things in Oz if you know the right places (Big brands) Whatever you do, dont order an H-sport gear as it never turns up. Personally I would'nt bother with the coil. |

Offline | BAD experience for me with MINI SPORT UK. They sent me cheaper versions of everything I ordered half the stuff wouldn't fit my Cooper S and then it took the best part of a year to get the money they owed me. They were great during the ordering process very prompt with their e-mail replies, the minute they had my money they just stopped repling to my e-mails. IMHO they are a bunch of rip off merchants. BEWARE ! ![]() GETTING ALL RALLYED UP and a little bit sideways |
