Offline | Well I just got my ticket for the industry day of the Sydney Motor Show, or as it is now known, the Australian International Motor Show , so I thought it might be a good time to start up a thread. Got the ticket through work at the incredible price of FREE!! Is anyone else going to the industry day this Thursday the 13th? If you are, let me know and we can meet up to go over the Mini stand with a fine tooth comb. (gotta love the industry day - no rubbing shoulders with the unwashed masses for me ) Anyone have any predictions about launches, releases, prototypes etc? As far as Mini goes (and I have absolutely nothing to base this prediction on) but logic would suggest that they might release/preview the new colours that they have already launched in Europe and the US. Will be pretty stoked if they do ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | Boooo! I have to go with the rest of the plebs on friday. *sigh* I haven't heard much about new launches, not compared to last year anyway. They had that stupid, useless Angela Bishop on ten news last night with some of the cars folding top Ferrari (not sure on name) QuadraPorte and the Brera Overpriced but still a sweet car.I, too, hope they have the new colours on show, I'd like to see the diffrence between chilli red and solar red. Also the new *cranky* grey Is anyone else going down on friday? ![]() Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it |

Offline | She gives me the 5h1ts sooo badly too. I rememmber when star wars episode 1 came out and she interveiwed Lliam Neson about his part and asked if he would be in the next one, even though he was killed. Bear in mind, this aired 4 hours before the midnight screening. B17CH!!! The only interesting thing about that ferrari is its glass roof. and Scotty you should just call in sick, you know you want to come down with us ![]() ![]() Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Offline | The new Aston Martin Vantage will also be shown. Do we think that the Park Lane Mini will be there? Nick and I are going on Friday with the plebs. How did you score a FREE Industry pass, Andrew? |

| Livin' the country life | I would ONLY go to the Australian Internationale Motor Show-arama or whatever it is called this year, with young Angela as my intrepid(and no doubt, insightful) guide ![]() At this stage Andrew may have the 'fortune' of visiting the exposition sans the unwashed, but the flipside to this is his increased propensity to catch up with the 'celebrities' like Angela hahahahaha ![]() ![]() |
