Hi Guys
just got Auto Action magazine today and there is a big write up of the MIni Racing in Italy with Grant Denya (should have been our own Ken, but hey Minis in main stream motorsport publication who can complain). It's worth a good look at newsagents now till next Wednesday

How the hell did Grant Denya get a drive over Ken????

The only thing he is good for is reading the weather and crashing into walls at 270kph!!

Every time Ken goes away the black shorts always make an appearance on M2.

Grant Denyer has an FIA license to race V8 Supercars. Hence why he got a gurnsey.

Did you see Grant and AJ Hackett make the Guinness Book of Records this morning?
Did a tandem bungee jump from a helicopter over Bondi beach.
Jumped over 300mts

Hi everyone,

Back in Oz a little worse for wear after a long flight and a very emotional time.

Grant is a good bloke and his racing in the Special Guest race was not to my detriment.

The late change to the need for an International C licence for competitors outside of Europe meant that I was prevented from competing. As Todd said, because Grant already had a licence at that level, BMW/MINI Oz were able to grab Grant at the very last minute and fly him over.

I must admit, it was excruciating to watch, but he did Australia proud. He was up against some very fierce competition. Take a look at the drivers list and you'll understand what I mean.

When I recover, I will start posting my pics in the "clubMINI goes racing again (sort of)" thread. Meanwhile take a look at http://www.miniunited.com

Brett, thanks for the heads up on Auto Action, although, I know it is going to be difficult to read without getting very emotional.
