Thanks for your support all. Had 3 new MINI entries on the day (2 in Craig's S, and myself).

Will post a short report once results are out, but Craig had a pretty good day, I had an average (consistent but slow) day, and Karien was beating me before she WD'd one test.

And Todd is right - we are out there somewhere......

Seriously tho - it was a tough day all up, and very competitive. Everyone was pushing pretty hard. Was heaps of fun, although there were some not so nice tests chosen on the day, but all up a great day out.

For those interested there is the first round of the Marque Sports Car Supersprint series coming up on MARCH 5 at Mallala, entry forms are available at http://www.mscasa.com/
There should be at least 2 MINI's there that I know of.

Just a quick update for those that are interested. Due to the closure of Mitsubishi Lonsdale last year the car park is now off limits. (Not bad since the place closed in June last year!)

There has been a successful trial at Monarto over the weekend, so we're hoping to have word through regarding the next round being re-scheduled any day now.

Well, the motorkhanas are back on!

They now have permission to use the concrete pad at the Woolworths distribution centre in Monarto. It's supposedly just off the Monarto exit from the freeway, but I've never been there.

The next event is on 2nd July. Not many sleeps to go!

Awaiting official results, but have received confirmation that I was able to take out 1st outright (unfortunately I was the only new Mini there!). Will post them when they are available.

Well done! Bet you had more fun than anyone else there too, driving the MINI

With Tiaan heading back up this way, it kind of leaves you to keep the candle burning!

I hope you get a few more Adelaidians to join you in having some fun in their MINIs. If Nick and I ever get across there in our MINIs (we usually fly) will be sure to give you some advance notice so we can organise a drive through those amazing Adelaide Hills
