Here is an image sequence and transcript (attached is a zip of the audio) of a very funny MC advertisement I saw the other night on SBS. The delivery by the Mini owner is very good and worth listening to.

A 12Mb MPEG4 version of the spot is available here. You will need Quicktime 7 or an alternative H.264 compliant player to view this clip (sorry about that, but H.264 is why it is so small yet good quality).

Wife: Ask this guy.

Husband: Excuse me, can you tell us how to get to the freeway?

Mini Owner:

Easy.

Straight ahead two hundred meters, long curve to the right.
Down shift into second gear; right away a tight left, four plus.
Easy off the gas 'cause there's some washout.

Right, 3 double minus. Stay there!

Bring your count back up. Let it run through fifth and back to third to cut the corner to the left, four minus.

Straight ahead and you're there.

See you.

Husband: Thank you.

Husband: Let's ask this other guy over here.

Is it on at any particular time?
or during certain show more than others?
I switched to SBS on Monday night to see the very last part of the ad (the logo)....

Well to be honest, Monday night I usually watch SBS (MythBusters, South Park, John Safran) and I always see it then. I don't actually watch much TV otherwise, so check it out next Monday night

Hi,

I barely watch TV at all. The only show I watch on SBS is Mythbusters

and I've seen the mini ad loads of times. So I would suggest watching mythbusters

You will get to see a great TV show, plus see a cool mini ad (with an ad executives idea of what rally navigation calls should sound like

)

I watch Mythbusters every week and have never seen the ad!!!

They're screening this ad in cinemas before movies too.
I only caught the end of it though - got to the movie on time but then spent too long in the candy bar
