Be afraid...spotted yesterday outside Carousel shopping centre, Cannington, WA.

Maybe someone needs to pour a thickshake into this "bin".

These are called scameras in the UK

A Shooping Centre - is that some kinda tribute to the female rap band of the 90's - Salt & Pepper!?!

I assume he is refering to a picture of a speed camera in a bin? Not 100% sure..

Just saw the linked picture... Im shocked they havent got them in Victoria!! They have everything else! Nothing a bit of spray can wouldnt fix

These were revealed in the press recently.
They are specifically targetted at motorbikes and will not be used against cars (that was the official line anyway

)
Because motorbikes don't have a front number plate these will photograph the rear number plate, something the existing cameras cannot do.

I was of the understanding that all the speed cameras only take photographs from behind!!
My brother even went as far as testing this fact by overtaking another car on double yellow lines going through a fixed speed camera!!! (yes, I PMSL too!!!)

AND NO, HE DID NOT GET A TICKET!!!!

Both my tickets were from the front showing me clearly...mind you my last ticket was over 5 years ago!! My friend got one a couple of weeks ago and now they don't even send the pic!!! You have to PAY for the photo!! How lousy is that??!! You have to pay for the proof!!!

maybe where you live, but over here that's the way it has been ever since they introduced the cameras

Wouldn't it be terrible if a passing pedstrian happened to accidentally push it onto the road in front of an oncoming truck?

Was only saying to Brad today, would love to give the drivers of the central coast a nice christmas present by wrapping large cardboard boxes in christmas paper and putting them over all the local speed cameras to disable them. Saw it done on that website devoted to blowing them up.
