2006 Mini Driver courses just announced

Hi, Just got an e-mail from BMW training to show the first half years courses for BMW/ mini......no level one in first half year in Melbourne but level 2 at Phillip Island on 29th May..........expensive but just treated myself and booked

Good 4 u Have u done the level 1 course though? I don't think they let you do level 2 until you've done level 1.

If you want to go, I think they'll let you go... last one was a flop.

They are trying to fill the Philip Island spots again after I heard they were going to move it to Sandown... big surprise there. I would do it, but after I take a day off either side, accomodation, fuel too and from and the actual event... well, Im looking at $1700 for a day. There are cheaper events. Farrrr, I could buy a set of brakes and new Advan tyres for the cost of that!

They originally said that I needed the level one but I did a Qantas sponsored BMW customer day so that counted apparently. And the BMW day at phillip Island was great.......

yeh I've done the level 1 course already.. it's a good 1/2 of fun, but yeh... kinda steep...

How does the Level 1 course differ from the Level 2 version?

A full day instead of 1/2 and you get more time on the track... from what I heard anyway.
