Sunnybanker I was in there last weekend too!! Sat night actually and the Gyoza's are amazing YUM I am usually in the area Sat nights or Monday nights, never much during the day, we spend them down here

Mini has arrived, and is now *stuck* at the port of Brisbane, cause so many shipments of cars are coming in! Predicted date goes from next week, til about the 26th.

Anyway to answer questions...

Mini is LY with a white roof and white stripes (and checkerplate mirrors).

No, no name (or first CD choice) yet... i'll need to *bond* with it first, and see what suits.

I Don't live near Sunnybank (though have travelled by that way for Cold Rock). I'm on the Northside (near Chermside). I tend to see a few Minis in this area (especially arouund Woollowin/Wavell Heights - anyone here?).

Am getting a Cooper (with Chilli options).

I'm glad I ordered when I did, or I probably wouldn't have been able to get the LY.

Not yet, but by the end of March you might see our Checkmate charging around Albany Creek and Chermside on a regular basis. Actually, if you just keep an eye out whenever you drive past a Cold Rock there's a fair chance you'll spot us.

Hey Liz,

Dont worry about those Sunnybank people you can join the Wooloowin bunch. We have the Black Eye Purple in Wooloowin and Dallas (drlee77) has a Hyper Blue and lives just down the road. There are also a couple of others around but I don't think they are in clubMINI . There are also members at Stafford Heights and Newmarket just off the top of my head.

So will you be able to make it to the Byron Bay run??

Not Again!!

It looks like the mini may be *another* 2 weeks off from now!!

Apparrently there was a hail storm a few weeks ago, and some Beemers got damaged in the Valley, and so on and so forth, and now it's taking a bit longer to get the Mini's back from where they're being fitted out for safety, etc.
