JCW bits fitted

Hi All, Just got back Hyprblu who has just had a new clutch fitted under warranty thanks to BMW. The clutch was very heavy and therefore the dealer decided to get me a new clutch...very happy as I had already done 61,000kms on the old one....since I got it back the gearbox is much smoother as well....BUT while it was in there I got the JCW air intake, JCW larger injectors and JCW 220 ecu upgrade added to go with my 17% pulley that I already had.....verdict... ....what a difference....much smoother and heaps of extra power plus an even better supercharger sound......I am well pleased.....just waiting for the GRS intercooler and should be set for a while......well maybe.....

Well done!!!
This may be a stupid question, but what is the JCW 220 ecu upgrade? I thought it was 210?

Refers to the kit containing the JCW intake and the larger injectors which I thought was part of the JCW 220 upgrade....maybe I am wrong......but I got the latest version of the JCW software loaded.....which is good for me as I have a 17% pulley....the BMW dealer who fitted it all (including the pulley earlier this year) now recons I have something that is equal to if not better than a JCW....at a much less price. Acceleration and torque is certainly impressive.......managed to cause the traction control to come on when changing into 5th this morning at around 80K (yes I was taking my time and changing up early)......the whole car is now so much easier to drive......

you'd kill a JCW. All that has over you is a polished exhaust outlet and a catback exhaust, which do nothing, and you've got a smaller pulley, which does.

yeh the 210 is the upgrade from the old 200bhp cos of the intake and injectors.
