clubMINI NSW/ACT and the MINI Car Club of NSW have been invited along to the biggest dealer event of the year. Yep Sylvania MINI Garage is on the move and to celebrate they have planned one hell of a launch day. Full details as follows, hope to see you there!!!!

Are you ready for the next big thing?

THE PLACE TO MINI (formerly known as “Sylvania MINI Garage”) has relocated from Sylvania to Canterbury, to become “Canterbury MINI Garage”.

Symbolising the move and celebrating the launch of the new showroom, as well as the arrival of two exciting new MINI models, Canterbury MINI Garage is calling on MINI enthusiasts to join in for a huge MINI Parade, followed by an even bigger MINI launch event.

A day for MINI drivers.

It is all happening Saturday, the 18th of February, when MINI drivers are invited to get together at the old Sylvania location (101-107 Princes Highway, Sylvania) between 10.00 am and 10.30 am.

Soon thereafter, a massive MINI Parade will roll towards the new showroom at Canterbury (376-384 Canterbury Rd, Canterbury), where the fun continues with a roof-top-party with DJ, entertainment, culinary goodies, the MINI People’s Choice Awards and much more.

Every MINI that enters the MINI People’s Choice Awards in a certain category (see registration form) can then collect public votes to strive towards winning its category.

Both, MINI Parade and MINI People’s Choice Awards participants are up for some very funky prizes. Spots are limited, so you should register today.

A day for future MINI drivers.

If you are not a MINI driver yet, but you are seriously thinking about it, come directly to Canterbury MINI Garage by 11.00 am, be part of the cheering welcome committee for the arriving MINI Parade, vote for your favourite MINI at the MINI People’s Choice Awards, and join in for the big MINI Launch Party. There are also lucky door goodies and prizes for votes submitted at the MINI People’s Choice Awards.

So book in the 18th of Feb in you busy calendar, then grab the registration form and let us know you are coming.

Two new super models.

The launch of Canterbury MINI Garage also coincides with the arrival of the fantastic new MINI Checkmate and MINI Park Lane, both of which will be unveiled on the day. To read more about them, go to www.theplacetomini.com.au now.

And then there could be something else…

Rumour has it also that there will be a “special guest appearance”, and while nothing can be confirmed just yet, dare to expect something quite extraordinary … all will be revealed on the day …

To join the party, and in particular the MINI Parade and the MINI People’s Choice Awards, you must register in advance. You can easily do so by filling out and faxing back the provided PDF form. We will also have an online version available in the next few days. Keep checking with www.theplacetomini.com.au.

Please note that the MINI People’s Choice Awards can only be entered in conjunction with the MINI Parade from Sylvania to Canterbury. Spots for the parade and the awards are limited, so be quick to reserve your’s ASAP.

Maybe should organise a convoy so we don't get lost, can put the address in the Sat Nav, when they get back to me, haven't heard anything from them like others have, faxed off the registration early this week.

Yeah GOZ is a tad on the dirty side - been clocking up the kay's on the F3 (except for River to Cowan - early morning blast on the OPH).

I'll be there in my mates new MCS, also a guy from my work will be tagging along as his wife owns a MCS.
