Hey guys,

any news on this event? how many are going so far and what hotels has everyone booked into?

i have work travel show to attend to on the 11th but want to still come down prolly late avo on the 11th and meet yas if its possible...

hope many vic and nswers come too!!

Hi MK,
It's all very quiet on the original thread, I asked the same questions to the organisers.
I can tell you we are going to Peppers Casuarina Lodge, Coorabell, on the Saturday night, (we couldn't find a one nights stay in Byron), as we have to come back to brizvegas on the Sunday evening .
Saturday evening, we are having dinner at the Great Northern Hotel , so I'll PM you my mobile number if you get down here late , and we can catch up

Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March, we are only staying on the Saturday.

Zapo, we may have to frequent the bar ??

hmm i have a feeling the travel show is on the 12th not the 11th, so then i will be able to meet up on the sat and head to byron and depending what time i have to be back in brisbane for the travel show, i may be able to stay the night of the 11th and leave early or just head home that night.... :/

Hey All,

Just got back from the final recce. Man it is AWESOME!!!. There are some fantastic roads, with very little traffic.

We will be leaving about 8am from the south side. Just to keep every one informed.

and only took 1hr 40 min back to brisbane too

I'm not sure whether we'll get down there yet... will know more after this weekend. 50/50 staying for the night ... good chance of going just for the day.. small chance I won't make it at all :O

We have rusty in to have the rusty door re-painted at that time... so may have a courtesy car..
