Offline | When did LSD get introduced in the MCS? Hello all! I've been lurking on these boards for awhile and have been thinking about buying a 2nd hand MCS and wanted to chime in to say hi and also ask if anyone knew when LSD was introduced on the MCS? Anything else that i should be aware of? Any help appreciated, thanks! Boon |

Offline | Yes, the build date is the important bit of info. Also, to date the LSD has been standard fitment on all Australian MCS cars (from Jan 05 build onwards obviously), whereas in some overseas markets it was an option just like a sunroof, for example. ![]() |

| Boy who made the wolf cry | Hey Boon! Welcome - another texer turned mini2er! (ausVWGR32) Like I said on IM on tex... Jan 05 build onwards. You are still paying a premium for these cars at the dealers. This is after the introduction of the Chilli Pack so it can get a littel complicated comparing apples to apples when it comes to price, be careful to look into it if you are keen on the LSD. So you sold the R and are looking at the MINI... interesting. Any explanation as to why you would do that? Most want to go the other way... some have both ![]() Todd PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

Offline | So it looks like 05 build onwards then, which sucks cos 05 cars are still demanding a premium. Might have to give that option a miss unfortunately... even though i WANT IT! ![]() Reason for selling the R32, main reason was that i hardly drive and it was a lot of cash locked into a car that doesn't get driven. So i thought i'd sell it (before the Mk5 came out) and buy something cheaper and i've always loved the look of the MCS so thought i'd save some cash and pick one up 2nd hand. Then do 15% pulley, belt, spark plugs, ECU, intercooler... something like that anyway. |

Offline | Oh yeah, as for my likeness to Boonie, i don't have a pot or a moe and the most beer i've drunk in one night is 4 litres followed by an insane hangover but i do talk to the TV at times ![]() |

Offline | Haha... thanks Liam, i should have bought the MCS instead of the 350Z when i was looking back then. I'd probably still be driving it today instead of changing cars every year ![]() |
