Hi Liam, I sent off the two envelopes for you today. If they're the wrong size, it would be great if you could bring mine up to Eastern Creek as well. Sorry if they were the wrong size (auspost ladies didn't know what DL size was...and neither did I)

The Australian Post people had never heard of DL envelopes! Haha, that's funny.
Another way they are sometimes referred to is "business sized envelopes".

Either way I'm sure your envelopes will be fine.

then I think it's the right ones. I don't know who should feel more stupid, the auspost people for not knowing what a DL is, or me for giving them the blank look when they asked what they looked like.

The measurements are in the post (haha, geddit!) … no serious, read the bit you just quoted. And if the stationer doesn't know what a DL envelope is I permit you to bash them over the head with a ream of A4 paper … if they can find one.
