Offline | Central Coast Convoy Drive 25th Feb. Anyone interested in a drive day on Saturday the 25th of February? Its being put on by Worthington MINI Garage and StarFM to launch the new Characters models. I was up at the dealership today and picked up a flyer, the plan is to meet at the dealership at 9.30am then head north, before working our way down the coast to Terrigal for a free BBQ lunch at the Haven at 1pm and the unveiling of the new MINI Park Lane. I think they have a fleet of the dealership Cabrios going, should be a good day. Anyone Keen? |

Offline | Amazing how quick some people here judge others. This week is a really busy week for MINI people, On Saturday 18 Feb. Sylvania MINI is having over 100 MINI's in a convoy to their new premises at Canterbury, then on 24 Feb clubMINI is having a twilight Track event at Eastern Creek and on Sunday 26 February clubMINI is having a drive from Hornsby to Dungog and other lower Barrington historic towns. So if Lets MINI wants to see what its like to be in a drive with other MINI's you are welcome to join us on any of these drives all details at www.nsw.clubmini.com.au or PM me. As for the Worthington Drive on Saturday 25 Feb, there are a lot of Central Coast MINI's who might be interested in this and i suggest they contact the dealer direct to establish what the arrangements are. The best way to combat poor dealer relationships is to get to know them better, then they might listen to your issues. Gosh I'm starting to sound like "an old wise man" Vic ![]() |

Offline | i am already down to do this run, so will see u there. BBQ lunch is included too so i hear, i called in today to the dealership too but i'm no dealer. Prizes too so their mini rep was telling me. Sounds good to me. The more new people to the mini2 site and for drives around the better i reckon. So be nice boys. Ann ![]() |

Offline | I was also asked if i could start up a thread for this event as they r not suppose to advertise on sites like these. There was two new minis going to new homes today too. Black JCW MCS was a stunner, didn't look at the other was too blindsided by the Astro black, Drool, Drool.![]() |

Offline | Also StarFM has a couple of Red Minis too, how do u know that they didn't post it from one of the drivers who is keen for a drive. They have been out with us before for the Launch of the Outrigger Resort at Ettalong. Nice cars with white stars on them. Then again don't pay any attention to me, been a long day racing home to beat the storm. Was behind me all the way home. WaS hail warning too so no rain or hail for me. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I think its great that these events are put on for MINI owners to enjoy. But I still had a good laugh at IML337's response. I would do the drive but to busy. Thanks again to the organisers. |

| Whatev. | Hey there, welcome to MINIdom What's your plate so I am sure to wave at you if I see you about? If you are super keen for a convoy after doing the Worthingtons run, you do know that there is a gaggle of MINIs from Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney that meet every Sunday morning for coffee at Cowan? Sometimes a run happens afterwards. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Thanks for your support guys I just called Worthington this morning to find out more info for Saturday. Apparently because of all the extra events on this weekend (Eastern Creek Friday, Barrington Sunday) they are going to postpone their convoy and BBQ until March 11. Shame cos I was looking forward to it, but will be just as happy to go later. Hopefully I can make it to one of these other ones soon (the Sunday thing is a little hard for me cos I work most Sundays - that's why I was super keen for the Saturday). As soon as I get a Sunday off though I'll join you. In the mean time, maybe we cn get a crew for the 11th? ![]() |

Offline | Absolutely on the money Mad Always . . the more events the better. We are all busy people in one way or another, as result, timing of events doesn't always suit all owners who would like to get involved. The more events, the more opportunities there are to participate. All organisers, including Dealers, should be encouraged and supported where possible so that we all have a chance to enjoy the opportunity of participating with other owners. ![]() |

Offline | Looking at the calendar i probably won't be able to make it on the 11th March as i have school reunion on that night and will have to start preparations early that day. Haven't seen most of them for 20yrs so will need some TLC to look my best. Might be able to make it for a snag at the BBQ depending on what time they arrive in Terrigal. Got girls night out the night before so big weekend for me.Cheers Ann ![]() ![]() |
