Offline | Sydney Southern Suburbs Mini Owners Would I be out of place to suggest that Mini owners in the southern suburbs of Sydney start a branch of the Pirates. How many of us are there in the Kogarah, Sutherland or Wollongong areas? What would be a good place to meet? Maybe a cafe in Stanwell Tops on a Sunday. Please post your interest or comments. |

Offline | I don't want to exclude anyone. Just thought it might interest people who live in the southern suburbs more than anyone who lives on the central coast, for example. Long drive across Sydney to have a coffee at PITS. Having said that, I still will make my way to the PITS when I can. Most Sundays I only have time for a short run through the Royal National Park. There might be other Mini owners in the same boat. (Pirate ship) |

Offline | Oh come on now, if we come all the way from the Central Coast down to the Pits and others like Scotty come every week from Newcastle, whats your excuse for not joining us for some fun? U need to come up and convince the pirates to scallywag around your joint sometime. We r really a friendly bunch. Don't tell me its too far as most mini drivers love any excuse to put some kms on the clock, especially on bendy road. Don't be a party pooper. U know u really want to, don't u? ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Hi Anne, I love going to PITS. I'll do my best to get there when I can. By the way, I guess the birthday celebrations stopped you from coming to EC on Friday night. I missed your presence. Paul |

Offline | Sounds like a good idea - plenty of good runs to be had down south (Jamberoo/Macquarie Pass/Kangeroo Valley/Royal National Park etc.). A group run of the Southern Pirates up to PITS every now and then would be a good idea too. Cheers Lee |

Offline | The judean peoples front! spliting from the splitters. All jokes aside I reckon its a good idea paul. There would be lots more potential pirates out there for whom PITS is just too big a headache. I reckon a southside meeting place might drag a few new ones out. I love Warsaw. Where else can you hug a pole? ![]() If you have any information, any information at all, please contact me as I'm writing an encyclopaedia. |

Offline | Paul, is that anywhere near the Canberrans planned route of Hume Hwy/M5/Homebush? We're hoping to leave Canberra at 8am for a 11am-ish arrival at the clubMINI BBQ. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Lee, Thanks for the offer of a brew. See http://www.mini2.com/forum/2334039-post3630.html. We could ring at the right minute for you to be poised and ready to do a flying start at the junction of Narellan Rd and the the freeway! Or you may be leaving earlier, as we plan an 11 - ish arrival. ![]() Cheers |

Offline | That sounds like an idea - a good one at that. If you could give me a call when you are somewhere north of Mittagong, that would give us enough time to get in, get out, get down and get ready.... |

Offline | Yeh Liam, CoolJamJar has the location correct. Its not on the Hume Hwy. A run through Roberston and then onto the Princess Hwy would see you at the Panorama Cafe once you get to Bulli. I haven't approached the cafe from the south so I don't know if you need to take the old Princess Hwy or F6 Freeway. If you Canberra guys want a quick trip then stick to the Hume Hwy. If you want a run on a road with corners then a diversion through Roberston is the go. It will add about 20 minutes to you trip to Sydney (this does not include a stop at the cafe). If you decide to stick to Hume Hwy I'll catch you at Homebush. Paul |
