HELP! Mechanic needed in Adelaide

Hi all,

Have a Fidenza lightweight flywheel and a stage 2 clutch coming early next week and I need to find someone who can fit it for me.

Adelaide Motors refused to work on my car because I have some non-genuine bits on my car (just towing the company line), so I'm after someone locally that has experience working on Minis.

There are quite a few BMW workshops that do really good work, but I just don't know if they've touched Minis.

Any help appreciated as my clutch is already starting to slip!

The tampa still regularly comes into Australia...I saw it several times in Sydney Harbour....

Still getting nowhere fast! Checking out a clutch specialist at the moment, but they're not sure they will be able to get to the clutch, so we'll see.

Next step is to look at taking a holiday to Vic for a couple of days

Hi Dave, Have you spoken to Adrian @ Morris Mania, he also has Michael McMichael Motors next door who are a BMW workshop

Hi Craig,

Was thinking about Adrian. He's keen to start working on BMW Minis, and he's good. Just not sure if he'd have the time. Always seems to be busy working on something!

Chasing up another lead at the moment, but will call him next.

Its quite a job getting the clutch out on a Mini, so that might be your trouble... try wording up the service people @ BMW nicely??
