Offline | Thought a collective post highlighting some of MINI2's more important features could be of use to newbies to the site (as well as refreshers for regular users )...MINI2 is a community. The Administration has strived to make it a welcoming, family-friendly, easily-accessible, informative place. The Australian forum doesn't always follow suit and I feel sometimes a little more consideration could be taken when posting ![]() I encourage you to take a look at the other Region Specific forums of MINI2 (for example: Social & Region Specific - UK & Ireland OR the colossal USA Regional forums to see how they are structured. These forums tend to stick to Run planning and relevant regional discussion I know I'm not alone in saying Region Specific Australia should be for Australian specific information only ![]() MINI2 has an excellent Off Topic section for anything not related to MINI2 or Regional discussion - and it can be really fun! ![]()
If you have something that isn't completely Australian Specific, but would like to highlight it as relevant to Australian users - post it in its relevant section and link it in a thread here you know people will see (for example Aussie Banter )Also please familiarise yourselves with:
And of notable interest:
MINI2 is an International site with many sections - it is much larger than Social & Region Specific - Australia ![]() It really ain't that daunting! ![]() If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to Page or PM me ![]() Cheers, Scotty ![]() - Global Moderator - MY BLOG - Global Procrastinator - ![]() ... Offline | I agree. I venture when i have spare time, and it is a fun place. People should try it. My question is though, how come we have our own motorsport banter thread. what's Aussie specific about formula one banter? edit. I screwed this up. I thought you started that thread, scotty. apologies todd. I love Warsaw. Where else can you hug a pole? ![]() If you have any information, any information at all, please contact me as I'm writing an encyclopaedia. Last edited by Mr G : May 4th, 2006 at 09:49 AM. |

Offline | Actually a fair point. I think the original intention of the thread was for any motorsports Oz specific.. i.e. "(Aussie Motorsports banter)" but its definately become restricted to F1 - and hence, Off Topic. - Global Moderator - MY BLOG - Global Procrastinator - ![]() ...
