Offline | Hi, New Mini owner here, or at least should be by the end of this week. I've been lurking about for some time now and since delivery is supposed to be imminent, I figured I'd post up. And I have a question. I've read about the BBQ on the 27th for ClubMini QLD. Sounds great. Where, when, how, etc? Cheers all, rbatty |

Offline | Surely BrisBMW have a spare set of 17" rims with tyres that they can lend you for a couple of weeks? I have 2 x 17" Superlights here at work you can borrow if that's any use. I also remember someone else in the club has a set of Superlights with old run-flats on them which they don't use - just can't remember who that was??? Altenatively, talk to the Rim-King aka Steve, maybe he can spare a set for a couple of weeks??? Come on everyone, someone out there must have a spare set of rims they can lend Minipnut. I mean it' not like he is going to damage them by driving his car off a cliff or anything ![]() QuickBrick |

| MINI2 Senior | I called him guy back and found out the body shop ordered through bris Bmw parts, so tomorrow ill ring up geoff and see if he has a set that he'd like to swap for the ones they ordered. i already asked the guy about borrowing a set so they can finalise it and then come back and pick the rims up when they come in but he said no. And they another this came up when i was talking to him about the rims, he said that he just ordered what ever the standard parts where hence the 15's but after i hung up i relised i bet he ordered standard suspension instead of sport suspension for the Chilli :@ incompetant people |

Offline | just reject the car when they try to give it back to you. funny how they still don't know the difference between Cooper and Cooper S, I had a service advisor ask me if mine was supercharged when we were going through my car. I would have thought that the exhaust pipe or the bonnet scoop would be a huge giveaway, or perhaps the badge if he was bothered to look there. I pay them to get frustrated... ..not good. |

Offline | Can you give us some more info? How old is the car; What does the noise sound like; is the noise speed dependent (i.e. does it speed up as the car goes faster); does it happen all of the time or only when going around corners or at a certain speed? If it's your daughters car probably best to get it checked out by one of the dealers to be safe - is it still under warranty? QuickBrick |

Offline | Yes, They just go slower. The run is only a short one this Sunday so it should be fine. I think the forecast is fine also. If you are travelling in the same direction as your wheels are pointing- You aren't trying hard enough. |
