i still dont undestand your reasoning for buying a stage 1 JCW, why not just save up for stage 2 ?

You can probably get them on ebay, what that does for the engine ecu and exhaust could be questionable though...

in answer to the stage 2 kit - there is no such beast released as an add-on by the dealer (one of the main reasons for JCW stage 1 rather than aftermarket) This can be debated forever, however I weighed the value of the continuation of warranty fairly high which was a major plus for me to make the decision.

methinks this thread is about to get busy...

I am sure I read somewhere that all of the power gains achieved by the JCW stage 1 kit are negated by the weight of all those JCW badges they stick on your car

Thumbs up

This is some vision from the Stokell Racing Challenge last Wednesday.

Sorry about the corny commentary, but i had boiled the brake fluid in the first race and had no brakes. This one was the last and i just had to tank it down the main straight. Probably 10-20k's slower than i should have, just 130k's was all i was really keen for. Yeah. I know, just soft. The next one is the second race where was really nervous and wouldn't shut up. I'll upload that one when UTube allows it.
