I called him guy back and found out the body shop ordered through bris Bmw parts, so tomorrow ill ring up geoff and see if he has a set that he'd like to swap for the ones they ordered. i already asked the guy about borrowing a set so they can finalise it and then come back and pick the rims up when they come in but he said no. And they another this came up when i was talking to him about the rims, he said that he just ordered what ever the standard parts where hence the 15's but after i hung up i relised i bet he ordered standard suspension instead of sport suspension for the Chilli :@ incompetant people

just reject the car when they try to give it back to you. funny how they still don't know the difference between Cooper and Cooper S, I had a service advisor ask me if mine was supercharged when we were going through my car. I would have thought that the exhaust pipe or the bonnet scoop would be a huge giveaway, or perhaps the badge if he was bothered to look there. I pay them to get frustrated... ..not good.

Can you give us some more info? How old is the car; What does the noise sound like; is the noise speed dependent (i.e. does it speed up as the car goes faster); does it happen all of the time or only when going around corners or at a certain speed? If it's your daughters car probably best to get it checked out by one of the dealers to be safe - is it still under warranty? QuickBrick

yeah i'd be checking the suspension. BEFORE you pick it up. get the part numbers off BMW and comparing it to the car. 1968 Mk1 Morris Cooper S 1310cc Downton Lake Green - White 1974 Leyland Mini 1098c Country Cream 2008 MINI Cooper S Chilli Pepper White - Black Roof

Or you could just get the part numbers off realoem.com. Realoem will show you exactly which parts are different between standard and sports suspension so you should only have to check a couple of key components to know which suspension they have put on your car. Rear sway bar diameter would probably be the easiest thing to check. QuickBrick
