Offline | Painting of my MINI A very talented MINI owner in the UK has done a painting of our BEP MCS from a photo that we took at the University of Queensland when the jacaranda trees were in full bloom. Just thought I would share with my other fellow Qld MINI owners. http://www.mini2.com/forum/general-d...adise-bep.html |

Offline | Hello. I have a red cabrio on order for mid July and hope to come to a club drive soon after that. I don't see many cabrios in the photos for the Queensland club site though??... why is that? |

Offline | We do have a couple of cabrios in clubMINI and Sunnybanker with a DS MCS is a very regular attendee on the runs. I guess there are not many in the photos on the clubMINI website because they have not been updated for a while so will have to get that fixed up very soon with some new shots. We would love to see you on a run soon and we are just finalising the calender for the rest of the year very soon so keep checking the website for updates or feel free to contact any of the committee |

Offline | I could be persuaded to organise something for early saturday morning. But would have to be early and not too long. say leave around 7 from southside. Mt tambourine - beechmont - bottom of springbrook mountiains - Back to brisbane. Nothing too formal just a blast through the mountains not sure about stopping for breaky tho, maybe a quick stop for coffee. if there are any takers |

Offline | Hi guys, Some of you may remember when I first got my MINI being somewhat dissapointed with the handling... The car now has 4000k's on the clock and is getting much much better to steer. I punted it through a corner the other day and was amazed at the speed I was able to carry. 99% of my driving is to work and back - all highway so very boring. I hadn't 'really driven it' in a few thousand k's so was pleasently suprised. String a few corners together and my smile grew larger. I still stand and say that it isn't the great handler of the MX5... but my original dissapointments are quite a thing of the past. Much much much happier with my little brick now.... I think it's bordering on obsession soon. |

Offline | THe dash and trim spray was quite messy to apply but worked well, Although I buffed it after it had dried so It felt a bit less greasy hard work but good, although I think I will go back to mothers Back to Black alot less greasy and easier to apply Ohh and I've just ordered my 5th set of door trims (keeps the new car smell going for longer at BMWs expense) |

Offline | Hi all - I'm currently in Limbo and in somewhat agony!..... the Limbo part you ask??? My Laser Blue MCS is still an itch in Mr Coopers trousers so to speak... I will be waiting till September for the beast to arrive! (and then it will be the sub 4500 revs for a good month or so after that ;-). I am interested to know how often you guys get together in organised drives? (even if from time to time its just a couple of cars.. ) |
