Offline | Sambo99, I'm pretty sure all the "obviously MINI" plates are either on cars already, or owned by the MINI dealers. If you don't see any on display at your dealership, check their demo cars - They quite often put the plates they still have for sale temporarily on the demonstrators. I have no idea how much they charge for them though.... Has anyone ever bought a personalised plate from their dealer? |

Offline | It will be definitely worth asking thats for sure. I am thinking back to the movie shooting fish where the number plate of a car was "A T05 OF" or something of the like.. having a 3 letter name I might opt for the individual person, rather than the individual car ;-) (rather than the mix match of letters / numbers...) I will now have to get a move on in making my decision somewhat - just got some great news that my MCS is in an earlier allocation for production!!! A delivery date in August seems so much closer than September! |

Offline | I still have some of our MIN plates here which we use for our DEMO's. We charge the same as PPQ charge for them, but there is also the $120 transfer of ownership fees which we on-charge to customers. It's not a money-making venture for us, so if a customer likes a set of plates on a demo, then i'll happily sell them. |

Offline | Run!!! Howdy All, Looks like I have sorted my shuddering brakes and am now keen for a blast over a mountain. If anyone is interested let me know. I want to do it early sat or sunday. Dont really mind which mountain. Tambourine or Nebo/Glorious. Would love to do it early say on the road by 7am. I know this is not everybodies cup of tea but if you are interested and would like to come along let me know. PS for you ppl that felt the need to add that whiney thing to the side of you motor dont forget that it should be nice and cold too ![]() Ruben |

Offline | I get back on the 21st June. Got the MINI booked in the same day to get a new set of wheels and a couple of other things. Yes it's fun over here - but very, very hot. Spotted quite a few minis too. Spotted two in the office car park of one of our clients. Will have to catch up for a blat over the mountains when I get back. Cheers, Dallas |

Offline | had the weirdest phone call today from a bloke called Mark Porter(?) he phoned me saying that I know you but you don't know me. he is trieing to get a New mini show and shine happening this weekend in Brisbane has anyone else heard about it?? Whats weirder is that the QLD MINI MUSTER is on next week, I asked sure you don't mean June long weekend and he said no Def this weekend. I polietly said no, as I would be up for a Clubmini run on the 17th to which he said are you sure, as they have small limits of numbers now? I've never heard that before ![]() |

Offline | Hi Brett, I don't know anything about a Show & Shine this weekend, but I can clarify the stuff about limited numbers on clubMINI runs! There are no limits on the number of cars we have on each run - unfortunately it looks like Mark is trying to spread mis-information about the club There is a bit of a long story behind this, but for some reason Mark & his mates don't like ClubMINI so I'm not surprised to hear that he has been telling stories.QuickBrick |

Offline | Got the call early this week also. Apparantely there's around 100 new MINI's going to be there. I hadn't heard a thing about it at all. I too asked him if he meant the "MINI Muster Sponsored by Motorline MINI Garage" which is on next weekend in Carina, and he said it definately wasn't that. Weirdest phone call for me as well. |
