Nah, fortunately my tyres were tougher than my wheel arches, so just scrubbed a bit more plastic from the wheel wells - not the first time it's happened. Though it did remind me of the Mini that we followed up the mountain at Bathurst in 2006 which was overloaded with 3 people in the back of it. As Brett will recall, they didn't fare so well and ended up digging a 10mm grove into the centre of the tyre tread where the metal wheel arch dug its way through the tyre

I wonder if Mini Australia would like mini's to do a lap of the mountain sometime over the weekend. Could be a mega-run!

Hi all - if anyone is interested I am going to go for a blast over the mountain tomorrow morning. Will get to the usual place by about 7:30.

It was a good run this morning (once I got past the cyclists). Lots of open road and no sightseers :P

Might ahve to organise another one for next Sat (with some more notice for everyone)

The bump stops were removed. Weird thing, the owner belonged to some reglious group that didn;t allow anything to be done on the Sunday, so he got his mate to drive his car and he didn;t know about the bump stops removed, around the track ( Main reason for the event) while he stayed at the camp site.
