Australia Cooper S exhaust borrow "Vic only"

Howdy everyone,
Just seeing if anyone has upgraded their Cooper S exhaust and still have the old original exhaust around.
I am contemplating tinkering and making my own SS exhaust and need a template to work off before jacking up the GF's baby.
Melbourne people only.
Thanks for listening.

Have a chat to your BMW dealer - they throw the Cooper S exhaust away when they fit a Works Kit so you would be saving them disposal fees by taking one off their hands! I'm just not sure how many Works kits are still being fitted at dealerships now that you can order them from the factory

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the prompt repsonses and offers.
I will now have look into the mandrel bends etc, and I might just start myself a little project "one ball", but with a twist.
I will be in contact should I pluck up the courage and get my ass off the computer.

Sorry, nothing special with the twist.
Just an old school 2.5" single straight thru muffler mandrel cat back system.
I think with a single oval outlet.
Just an idea, thinking of doing a little RR in the garrage.

i like the idea of the oval outlet, never really was a fan of the stock beer cans, but then that said, i've never seen a set of tips that i like any better (apart from the JCWs)

While expensive for what they are, the nice thing about the "alternate OEM" tips is that they screw straight on, all you need is an allen key

Andrew, what in your opinion makes them worth the $190 you paid for them?

Where did you get them?

Cheers

It's hard to explain but they're not just 2 bits of chrome pipe, they're actually quite complicated pieces of kit There are plenty of other, in some cases, much cheaper alternatives but I reckon these look the best
