Offline | What Have I Done - A New MINI! Well they say never do anything on the spur of the moment, but i have! I thought I would be driving my EB/W MCS JCW for about 10 years at least. But after just three years i have been tempted by another MINI. Walked into Alto at Artarmon on last Wednesday and spoke to Sean Williams who is just the greatest guy (yes he did me a great deal, but he also supports clubMINI and even bank rolled the MINIkhana perpertual trophy for the Club) I spoke about a spec on a MINI I had been thinking about and he said "You won't believe this but i have that exact spec arriving tomorrow, to go on the showroom floor." My jaw dropped. Today I sealed the deal and in about 2 weeks because i am having a couple of things fitted to it and its my birthday in 2 weeks , I will pick up the following.MINI Cooper S Chilli Chilli Red/White Chrono Chrome interior JCW engine and brakes DSC Anti theft Alarm Window tinting Recaro seats, includes full leather front and back and heated seats Interior surface Anthracite (roof lining and dash) Rain sensor and auto headlights Monte Carlo lights Bonnet stipes (my girls still can't get over that one) Body kit front and side skirts (not sure about the rear bumper, I really need to see a good photo of a rear bumper with the body kit, has any one got one?) Anthracite bonnet scoop Web alloy wheels on 17's iPod connection I am stoked I have photos of the new MINI but not with the body kit, air scoop or wheels so when I pick it up I'll post them. Now back to work to pay for this beautiful piece of machinery Vic ![]() Last edited by Mini2v : May 6th, 2006 at 06:32 AM. |

Offline | WOW... Congrats Vic! ![]() That's a damn fine spec, soooo many goodies! ps. If the trade price is too hard to swallow, just strip out the old EB & leave it for the track ![]() [you'd be the 3rd on the clubMINI committee] |

| Still kickin' along | I personally like the shape of it....but the grille is actually a pretty average metallic silver sticker with black dots...some of the shots in here are of when it didn't have the sticker on it...it looks good from afar....but don't look too close... Obviously mine will look a little different to the one your'e considering because mine are colour coded...of course - if you haven't fitted the body kit yet, you could consider getting it colour coded while your'e at it! ![]() Recently BMW Adelaide honoured a warranty claim from me for those stickers because they went a crappy looking brown colour and had started peeling...that's in less than 1 year...
