Offline | Looking for 2 Minis for Canberra Wedding I am a Mini Cooper owner who has recently moved from Canberra to Brisbane. I am getting married in Canberra in September and my fiance and I would really like to have Minis as the Wedding cars. I am looking to see if anyone in the Canberra region can help me out. I am looking for 2 (New ModelMinis Preferably grey or black. Cooper S would be nice but Coopers would be fine. Anyone who is able to help can reply to this post or contact me via email at chazell@ballsolutions.com Clint Hazell |

Offline | I'd be happy to help out again but would request no ribbon if possible, or at least thinking of a different way to mount the ribbon so that it odesn't get loose and rub on the body work. I still have scratches on my bonnet from the last time. ![]() Cheers Liam (ps. As mentioned, I can't think of any of the Canberra regulars on here that have black or dark silver MINIs. Rob from Rolfe might be able to help out though.) |

Offline | I was thinking about this the other day. I think the simple solution to this would be a discrete piece of glad wrap stuck on the bonnet and A pillars behind the ribbon perhaps with a couple of pieces of 3m sticky tape (ie the type that is easy to get off) to keep it down Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | Driving at up to 80km/h the ribbon seemed to hold okay, but we drove from Tuggeranong to Parliament House and back, and along the Parkway at 110km/h or so the ribbon seemed to stretch. The points we had the ribbon tied to were still tight, but the ribbon itself had stretched therefore causing the issue at hand. Glad Wrap or somesuch might work quite well, at least on our bonnet I can show you where you'd need to put it! ![]() |
