Offline | Clear paint protector Hi I'm looking for advise re, OZICOSI at Brookvale putting a clear plastic stone protector on our new Mini S. 1. Have any of you Sydney boys and girls used this company? 2.What are your views on workmanship and value for money? 3.Does the clear plastic film do what it claims, protect the paint from stone chips. Thanking you all in anticipation. ![]() |

Offline | The Ozicozi guys in Sydney are MINI owners, indeed the President of clubMINI in NSW/ACT runs Ozicozi. That should put your mind at ease over having them treating your MINI. As for the product itself, it is supposedly very, very good. I don't have it, but there are plenty here that do. ![]() |

Offline | Hi we have the full OZICOSI for MINI put it on just after getting first stone chip, its excellent, we've been on many a country road 22,000 kms to be exact and I have less stone chips than other cas on the same runs I say that because the stones still hit where the cosi dosn't protect As for Andrews workmanship, he is a perfectionist I also had him do the decals on side and sunroof he spent hours more time getting it perfect (lost money on the job if you ask me) PS if you want to see pics of the cars & runs go to www.newsys.smugmug.com cheers JohnG ![]() |

Offline | Can also recommend OziCozi - well worth the investment! It is really worth getting it on your car before you do any runs - as we discovered. First run out, we got a nasty stonechip on Nick's brand new baby, "Scarlett". The OziCozi has saved her from many a stone chip, brilliant stuff. As John says above, OziCozi is owned by Andrew Jackson, who has one of the first MINIs (2002) and is clubMINI President. Sadly ,as he is busy with OziCozi, he doesn't get out on as many runs as he would like. He is very particular with the job he does and will put in the extra time to make sure it is perfect. |

| As seen on TV.......... | Stephen, Check out this link http://www.mini2.com/forum/social-re...hlight=ozicozi. I had it installed last year and it was very proffesionally done and Andrew is a great guy. I certainly would not be without it. If you want to see it on my car just give me a shout and I am sure we could tie up, if you are in Sydney. Regards, Chilli_Red ![]() |

Offline | Thanks for the replies and advice I will be getting the OZICOZI fitted to our new car. It will mean a drive down from Newcastle but as the engine needs to be run in it will do it good. Thankyou all. ![]() |

Offline | The first trip my car made back at the start of April was from Canberra down to OZICOZI to choose the colour for the bonnet/boot stripes on my car. Then another trip a week later to get them installed along with the OZICOZI on the bumper and mirrors. Needless to say, that was over half the break-in taken care of I got the OZICOZI installed more because of the grasshopper plagues we get down here during summer. When I was detailing up my previous MINI just before selling it, I was amazed how much the bug guts had etched the paint on the bumper. This was despite the fact that I generally didn't let them accumulate for more than a couple of days. The etching looked very noticeable and unsightly and took a lot of effort with scratch-x to get off. PS, the bug guts are a lot easier to rinse off with the ozicozi fitted too ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |
