Share Your Tyre Info

I've created a thread:
http://www.mini2.com/forum/wheels-ty...ml#post2519634

Basically I want you to tell me which tyres you've had on your Mini, and how they rated in terms of "stickiness".

This is an important issue as I previously spent $1100 on a set of Yokies that I have on another car of mine only to find out that they are crap on my Mini. It's an expensive mistake I don't wish to repeat. By telling me how your tyres were you will be able to share your knowledge with other Mini owners and save them (or me) from making yet another expensive mistake.

Read the thread (above) for more info.

Thanks,
Jamie

Yeah, maybe. But the information in that thread is not detailed enough. I'd like to get enough information from enough people that I can list the tyres from sticky to non-sticky. Just stating that one tyre is stickier than another is not enough. Having said that, tonight I'll try and glean what information I can from that thread and put it in a table.

why not just add it to the already existing thread instead of fragmenting information and cluttering up the social forum?

Because there is not enough information already there for example 'I replaced my runflats with blah blah balh'. I need to know which model runflats were replaced with which model non-runflat and what was the difference.

I posted in the social forum because most people from Oz don't really read the technical forums and I wanted some Oz specific replies. If it bothers you so much complain to the mods and they will close, move, etc the thread.
