| Minis required for wedding in Melbourne Hi All, does anyone know of any specialised car rental places in Melbourne that currently rents minis? I've tried looking but couldn't find any. Alternatively, would any black and/or white mini cooper owners be willing to rent me their cars for my wedding at the end of the year? I'm ideally looking for 2 black minis and 1 white cabriolet on that day! Its been a dream of mine to get married in the current mini and would love if any one of you can point me in the right direction or better still... help make it happen!! Thanks heaps for your time...   |

| Hi Minidream, congrats on your big news. Don't know if there are any mini rental places.. Most people would rather drive their own cars for you (normally a bottle of wine is the askingprice) than rent them out .. people ask for mini's for weddings on regular basis so I don't think it should be too much of a problem. Mycar is the dark dark silver, black roof and black racing stripes if you're interested. Having gotten married recently myself, good luck, and don't hesitate to ask for help!!! | Again, the wrong colour, but I also have a Dark Silver (just like Marty)... I would be willing to let you use mine, but I would have to drive it....... There are a few black ones around, try STOOGE, I am sure he would be willing to help.... I do not know of any Pepper White Cabs though.... Good Luck -Dan  |

| Hi Shieldsbane (Marty), KPKalle and doona (Dan), thanks for your help, support and offers! Although black and white minis were what we had in mind, any offers are great!! Fully understand that you would prefer to drive and I'm totally fine with it (was only concerned as it would be a full day affair... meals provided of course!!) Dan, would you know of any cabriolets in Melbourne and if so, what colours? Dark silver/grey happens to be my fiance's favourite car colour, so it'l be great!!  Let me know how you guys are positioned on 16/12/2006. Also, feel free to let me know if you prefer something other than a bottle of wine in expression of grattitude for your help/offer!!  |

| Cabriolets' that I can think of off the top of my head.... Cool Blue, Hyper Blue, a couple of Chilli Red's.... might be able to hunt down a Dark Silver for you.... I may be missing a couple, but it is late. I am one of the guys who run the Victorian club, so I am sure we will be able to rustle up some good cars for you. -Dan |

| Missed this thread until now... Congrats Minidream...always cool and fun to get married in a mini. I have a Cooper Park Lane in Royal Grey, I would have offered if my baby isn't due around Dec, but Royal Grey probably isn't what you're after anyway... Anyhow, if you get really stuck, let me know and see if we can work something out. |
