Offline | Driver Training Hi everyone, Does anybody know if Mini is likely to be offering more sessions of their driver training? I missed the June session due to other commitments but am interested in doing a Level 1 course. Bathurst would be great but I don't think they would close the road to let us tear around it. If anybody gets wind of further events please post. Steve |

Offline | Steve I got this message from Geoff at clubMINI last week - yes, it's in Melbourne I'm informed there is a Mini Driver Level 1 Advanced Training course being held at Phillip Island on the morning of August 10th. There are about 13 places left if you are interested. Cost is $440. Ring 1800 000 269 to secure your place or go to www.mini.com.au for more information. Good Luck Chris |

Offline | Would love to, but I was hoping for one with a little more notice (some people are impossible to please!). Unfortunately, I need to organise time off work well in advance. Any others in the offing? The Mini web-site seems to be very out of date, as it is still advertising events back in May and June only. Thanks for the quick reply though. |

| MINI2 Master | I was supposed to do my annual advanced driver training at MT Cotton with Sideline Motorsports, but my company has been told that the insurance premium is $40,000 for the day and, seeing as Sideline is a non-profit making organisation, my company would have to fund that $40k... so no driver training for me this year ![]() |

Offline | Steve, I think they hold them at Eastern Creek once or twice a year but you might have missed this years ones. Best thing to do is call the 1800 number that's listed on the driver training web page - they're really helpful ![]() I did the Level 1 course in June at Eastern Creek and it was a lot of fun. The best bit was getting to drive a JCW MCS and a standard MCS back to back on the track ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |
