Summernats

I went to the summernats this year but didn't see a single Mini. There are normally 2 or 3 there. I did see a whole bunch of 'old school' minis, at least two of them were doing really well in the driving events.

Although I didn't see them myself I have also been told that there were a whole bunch of new minis with wide-body kits driving around Canberra as a group.

I think that may be a case of Chinese whispers, there was a group of us driving around Canberra last weekend but only one with a wide body kit.

GETTING ALL RALLYED UP and a little bit sideways

Yeah, I thought so. I don't think there is more than one or two widebody minis in Australia

Oh thank god, I thought I was the only person walking around the summernats searching for Mini's!! Bitterly disappointed. All I seen was a HB/W MCS with 18" rims and a lot of stickers getting around Dickson. Funnily enough, when I was in Canberra 2 weeks before the Nats, I seen about 5 mini's in one day??! Maybe everyone left their Mini's at home for the nats, like I did!

I reckon there could be a couple more ... but, yes, not many.
