On a day when temperatures were mostly over 40 degrees we had 17 MINIs brave the heat for the run to Lancelin. After Lancelin we headed to Soverign Hill for a fine BBQ and the clubMINI (WA) AGM.

Thanks to all those who turned out and a very big thanks to those involved in providing the venue and the catering for the BBQ, a great job guys.

A few pics from the day
The crowd starts to gather

A few of the MINIs

Waiting for the second group to arrive

Yanchep Lagoon - too busy - too hot

Ready for the AGM and BBQ

New wheels

A few on the road to Lancelin

March 11th - Cafe on the Dam
A short run to the Cafe on the Dam at Serpentine Dam attracted 15 starters. Keeping 15 together through Perth Sunday traffic was hard and a few fell behind but a 15 minute stop on Nettleton Road allowed them to catch up. After refreshments at the Cafe the group split up with 5 diehards eventually finding their way to the Zigzags via Kalamunda and another coffee stop.
A short run that lasted 6 hours

Great pictures! Looks like you all had a good time. I can't believe I missed you guys going through town again (I'm up in the hills). I guess I need to get out of the house more

Make sure you fill in the clubMINI form when you pick up your MINI at Auto Classic.
Our next run is on the 25th March

When we arrived at Lascelles parade yesterday there was a bushfire in the distance and as we drove to the Zigzags the devastation wrought by last weeks fire was obvious. The Zigzags is usually very green but all the vegetation has gone.

Yes, we'll do that. Especially since they offered to pay the first years' membership
