Australia Side strips for doors and car body.

Hi folks,

I was just wondering who here has installed side strips for the door to protect their Mini from other people opening their doors into the side?
I've had 4 incidences where people had done this and made a runner, so I need some ideas.
Thanks!

Darn, I was hoping that wouldn't be the only answer.
I saw some fellow put chrome styled strips on his dark-silver Mini when I was driving on the Pacific Freeway, however I wasn't able to grab his attention to ask where he got it from.
I guess the quest continues...

choose your parking spot with the thought "does the driver in the next car love theirs as much as I love mine?"
