Hi
Not really melbourne but I fitted a full GTT 230 kit with the help of a local mechanic in Geelong.
We used his workshop, hoist etc and did a full service and "one ball" operation. Spent about 2 hours on friday afternoon stripping ITSNS down and chatting heaps and then an hour or so on Saturday morning putting everything together.
Mini mania pulley remover survived - just. The standard pulley is really well stuck on!
The GTT pulley requires pre-heating to fit waiting for the electric furnace to heat, pulley to heat through and then being brave enough to pick it up and fit it took a good 45 minutes of friday night.
Oil, plugs, furnace(rented for 1 slab of VB), workshop time, drinks, chocolate and all other essentials cost a total of $500.
Suprised you have had no other replies, maybe this will trigger something.
Stephen
Ps Tassie here we come.

Thanks ITSNS.
Yes, I thought a few more might have responded, but I guess they could all be more adventures than me and done the DIY thingy
