Offline | I unofficially won't be here on saturday and they will be locked away offsite, away from prying eyes. BMW is very strict on pre-showing and there are fines in place for naughty dealerships. |

Offline | As is customary in our office,we have an afternoon siesta. ![]() While sleeping I had a dream that I saw the R56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S. In that dream I saw that some of my concerns over the new MINI were eased, and some were justified. The interior works much better than I first thought and any issues I have over that have since passed. On the exterior I dreamt that the rear section of the car is not too bad, although I still am unsure about the lower valance on the Cooper S, even though the exhaust tips are a vast improvement over the R53 OEM version. However, my dream, sadly, didn't dispel any of my fears about the front of the car. The headlights just don't look right, the design of them is fine and bi-xenons for $1160 is very good pricing it does have to be said. But the way the lights integrated into the bonnet on the old car just solves so many aesthetic problems. Had I never seen the R53 my issues with the R56 lights wouldn't exist, but I have seen the old lights. Then I got to the bonnet scoop, ooh, that wasn't handled all that well. It's bad enough that the scoop is fake, but did they have to... ...then I woke up from my siesta. Just thought I'd share that with you guys. I can't wait to get to my local MINI dealer on March 9 to see how close to reality my dream really was. ![]() |

Offline | I will be looking forward to Liam posting wether his concerns are justified on March the 9th and if so can our modern day Nostradamas conjure up some winning lotto numbers or the winner of the next Melbourne cup. Nice work with the sleeping on the job. Thats gold. ![]() ![]() |
