I'll be there
I spoke to ScottyB the other day who said he was going to make an appearance.

All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it

Just got back from seeing the R56, and have to say I think it looks pretty good. The interior looks great, wasn't sure about it from photos, but I like it. The exterior is not quite as good, the front looks a bit boxy, and the lights (and holes in bonnet) just don't look too good.

But I'll go for a drive in one

Yes I agree, I think that the interior is good especially as they have got the speedo where it always should have been in the centre. The bonet was in my mind tacky as was the positioning of the id plate pop riveted to the passenger door piller. Looked right out of place and ruined the appearance when the door is open. The battery position looks to be a real killer especially for the poor bugger who has to replace it. I've got a test drive of the S on Tuesday will be interesting to compare to my JCW. In my opinion the changes were made to improve profit margins, as a consequence I'm still of the view that the R50 R52 and R53 are a better build of car !
