Offline | Mini Sport Aero Kit Question just wondering if anyone in Australia has ordered the OEM aero kit from Mini Sport which is currently on sale. i recently had a hit and run in the car park while i was away and i am tempted to order the kit. however they cannot estimate the shipping costs for Australia, only after i order it they will send me an email i tried emailing them, but still waiting for the reply. dealerships charge around $3k+ so im hoping that i can save a lot by ordering from mini sport. so has anyone ordered anything from these guys? how much is shipping and how long will it take? or is there any place in aus where i can get a kit for a lot cheaper? thanks |

Offline | Chris Woodman sells the kits cheap as well.. check out the for sale section. But to get them shipped over, it's more expensive than buying them here. Approx AUD$800 - $1000 more I think. ![]() ![]() |

| Twincharge??? | Food for thought: To buy every bit in the aero kit locally, it's around $1900 (trade price) + the grill (can't remember the price) and budget $900-1000 for painting and fitting as we can't get the painted ones like in the UK. If Mini Sport wants $1000 for shipping then so be it - you're still saving money. |

Offline | yeah its advertised for 695 pounds at the moment ($1700AUS painted). so its pretty tempting. still waiting for the reply about total shipping costs, i doubt ill get a reply though. they say if i order it they will automatically send an email with approx costs, but i still wanna find out before i order anything. can i cancel the order if shipping costs r way too expensive? wat would be an estimate of the total cost? as long if i save at least $500 or so |

Offline | Yep, definitely find out the shipping costs before making the order as it could potentially make or break the deal. That maybe the reason why they won't tell you as shipping might be really pricy.. not to mention they might mark it up to make some profit out of it. ![]() |

Offline | yeah i finally got a reply this is what they said:The cost to ship this would be 125 pounds by sea to Melbourne quay only. It would take approximately 2/3 weeks so overall it will be 595 pounds + 125 pounds + tax. so its about $2110AUS in total. i guess ill put in an order then... |
