Talking R90 Cross Spoke Wheels

Hello there,

Does anyone out there know if you can buy the R90 cross spoke wheels from a dealer and if so how much. I love these wheels and kick myself for not getting them a year and a half ago when I got my Cooper S Chilli.

I have attached a picture of the wheels in case I have go the model number wrong.

Yes you can buy these from any dealership. Around $1600+ for all 4.

Is it that cheap now? It's only a couple hundred more than the replicas.

Just a guess.. the R99s were abt that, so the R90s would/should be around that figure.

I was quoted this - R90 wheels (no tyres). Parts $3085 + $100 fit

So if you can get them for $1600 get them.

Thats why I ended up getting BBS RGR for less than that.

Mind you that's just an assumption on the price as I got my anthracite R99s for around that price, so would be expecting the R90s to be around that. Wouldn't expect it to hit almost double that in price to be honest. If checking out for a good price, check out Klosters at Newcastle. Have always done great pricing from my own experience. If you need details shoot me a pm.

R90's are rediculously priced.. $3000 without tyre sounds about right,

Gr!zzLy is right on the price for the R99's but I don't think the prices of the R99's and 90's are even close.

Just got a firm quote from Sydney Mini Garage at $2900. I can't believe how expensive these are when there are more affordable non genuine options out there. It is my understanding however if you change the rims to non genuine you void your warranty, can anyone confirm this?

Definitely not true. It basically depends on what happens. If you change your rims and something happens to your engine, they will not void your warranty on account of not having oem rims. If for example you shred a stud on your rims (not saying this'll happen, but as a hypothetical), then you're on your own.

Thanks again. I do appreciate your assistance. I think I will go for a set of Wolfrace or BBS wheels with non run flat tires.

Cheers,
Dave
