Oh yes, the temptation is strong - mine clicked over 1000k's on a MINI run - I was still taking it very easy. It hit the magical 2000 mark on the way to work one day so I decided it was time to give it a footfull and let it rev out cleanly - ahh the noise!!! It sounds great. Also noticed the fuel economy improving. Last tank I got 7.7l/100km average which I think is pretty good - certainly happy with it, at 3000kms now and the car is loosening up nicely (hopefully not too lose and falling apart ).

Cool scotty, thanks.
We need to hook up and do another photoshoot soon

I go the windows tinted yesterday, ordering mesome spots today. I'm still tossing up whether to get bonnet stripes or not. *shrug*

I hve to agree with Paul_T and Michael, keeping it under 4grand (so the book says) is difficult, especially when that exhaust note kicks in. Sweet, sweet music.

Michael, have you had any luck programming the indicatiors or follow me home functions?
I had a play yesterday, but with no luck.

Personally, I would consider bonnet stripes compulsory.

Yeah, go the bonnet stripes!

I had no probs with the indicators, but have not sussed out the follow me home functions. To be honest I still have not read a great deal of the manual.
All that time reading the manual takes up valuable time that could (and should) be spent driving her instead!

Good point, but I'd really like the "flash 3 times" thingie for changing lanes, etc.
I'll have to have another play I guess.

I've got the SatNav screen in mine so I can set all my things via the joystick, the indicators were pretty easy to do. It is definitely a very handy feature to have, I appreciate it each time I take a drive. It makes changing lanes and accelerating very convenient.

I got it working last night
Apparently you can only configure a few details (i.e. date and time) unless the engine is on.
