Offline | Mushrooming - I used to do that with my folks in the forest when I was young. Thems was the day when you knew that you werent pcking death caps or other supect fungus. Anyway - on the topic of strut braces etc. I have noticed that there seems to be a bit of odd goings on in regard to fitting. I sourced a carbon strut brace which came of Mike Ranieris mini - it obviously fitted on his - yet it does not even clear the ECU box on my mates Mini. It's like the ECU and air box are sitting higher then in Mike's (I did assume that the airbox would have to make way for a CAI perhaps). Like wise I have heard of JCW braces not fitting one car after coming off another of similar vintage. Has anyone else noticed this - or am I indeed going mental? |

| As seen on TV.......... | Met up with Corey today and picked my M7 STB up off him. Should get around to fitting it in the near future. Just a note for everyone, it is recommended to use new nuts when fitting ,they are about $4.00 from BMW. Also they should be torqued up to 25 lb/ft or 34 Nm. I also intend to put a very small amount of loctite on the threads as well, just for insurance! Chilli_Red ![]() |

Offline | Awesome!!! So you need new nuts to replace the existing ones? How do you torque up to that specific 25lb/ft...? Is there a special tool that is needed? ![]() long live the supercharger |
