Offline | some modding advice pls hey all i've just got myself a MCS 03 model. when i picked it up it had some mods on it. so far i've got a Magnaflow cat back exhaust, and a cold air intake. the car has been fitted with bilstein height adjustable shocks/coilovers - no idea with king springs and has noltec camberplate front and rear. now i would like some advice on whats next that i should do? i have been doing searches and reading on the reduction pulley mod. whats involved when doing the pulley mod? do i need to change to colder spark plugs? do i need a remap of the ecu? i have read all mixing reviews where some are saying that its not reliable running to redline n stuff.. can everyone share some opinions n views on the reduction pulley. how much would it set me back and any ideas where i can source one as im in australia, sydney. oh and which brand to go for. thanks |

Offline | Meenieme, You've hit the ground running with your mods. I've just started to do some mods to my Mini Cooper S and have found the following suppliers very helpful: 1. Corey, who runs Euromini (web business based in Sydney); 2. GTT Tuning a UK company who ship to Australia - excellent service and advice. Best of luck. |

Offline | You may also want to pm willow07 - he's in Adelaide (well, he's in Tassie competing in Targa at the moment), but he's got access to alot of the aftermarket stuff and knows what's out there. ![]() Feb 02 R50 |

Offline | Also, get along to a Pirates meet up at Pie in the Sky and when you meet and greet the other MINI owners you'll get a lot more info, and have a nice drive at the same time. ![]() |
