Offline | Reasonable and good body shop??? Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows of any good body shops in melb to get my bonnet dent fixed??? Reason being is that my car got hit by an umbrella when my bro was driving it, and basically the other insurance company has written a cheque to get it fixed after recieving 2 quotes. So the plan was maybe i could find a better deal and pocket the difference so if anyone knows and reasonably priced body shops who will do a good job please tell! Offline | I can recommend Oven Baked Enamel Services in Ringwood. They've done all of my cars (MX-5 and B4 Subaru) for over 10 years. 'Good' and 'Cheap' aren't often used in the same sentence. OBES work is good. Give **** (wow, it doesn't like his name!) Richey a call there (9870 0520) and you decide about cheap! Cheers David J ps I'm new here. Chilli Red MINI with White stripes. Only had the car a couple of weeks. I'll wave when I see people around! Last edited by AJB44B : May 22nd, 2007 at 12:03 PM. Reason: Didn't like the name! |

Offline | The guys over at the MX5 forum can't rave enough about how good oven baked enamel is. Seen some photos he's done, particuarly of a 2004 SE in Velocity Red, which is a three layer pearl with zarylic (almost like glitter mettalic, it's the factory colour)... a colour which most paint shops will knock back work on... OBES did an amazing job on it! |

Offline | Hi, That would be a PITS if they had serious panel damage There was a rally car in Rally Tasmania and Targa with a trick paint job, which I thought was asking for trouble Cheers Robbo Mods: GO MADDIE and SPARKY! |
