Australian specific classifieds section

Hi,

I'm a big fan of mini2, but I have to admit they have been pig-headed about such requests in the past. The usual response is why should you Aussies be special??

As a result I would recommend you visit "the other" forum, where there is a thriving aussie only classified section. However, keep coming back to mini2, as there is no better overall mini site

That's because you're deliberately ignoring site rules and just doing what you feel like.

Plus throwing personal insults at the moderators is not the best way to make a strong argument for a change you think might be a positive one. In fact, I find being polite and to the point is the most likely way to bring around change, rather than just putting noses out of joint.

I actually found your post a bit rude and demanding. We have discussed this over and over and found that the best way to allow people to sell (you couldn't even do that several months ago) was to have a classified section dedicated directly to it. Allowing people to post for sale stuff in threads really clutters up the forum and makes it hard to manage hence the reason for the "other" section.

Your idea was considered and discussed several months ago but found to be unmanageable but rest assured, we do listen.

That being said, it is up to your folks to come out of your little section and look around for items. It will work if you do it like what was posted until we can find a better solution. I closed the other thread as I didn't want it to spiral out of control....
