Must admit that I have had no problem with my standard JCW pads....and I do motorsport regularly. I have braided lines and use DOT 5.1 fluid. So far I have never had any concerns that the brakes wern't going to work or were fading at all......REDJCW

My new pads arrived this arvo, cant get them fitted till wednesday though.

The standard pads are fine, its was quite scary when your flying over a mountain, come to a hairpin and the breaks dont work till lock because theyve heated up.

will give an opinion on performance over stock next week

You should fit them yourself, its not that hard. If you need a hand let me know I might be able to help.

Costs around $180 a set for front pair, and about the same for the rears, the rotars are usually alot more durable than the pads, but if they do need replacing i think there around 280 a pair for the front/back ?

Does anyone know where I can buy red brake calipers for the cooper and any idea of a price?
I would reckon red calipers would look excellent.

Ruben is refering to the paint, to buy a new pre painted caliper it would be quite expensive.
