For sure mate. I will probably leave home at about 7:45am as they want us there at 8:30am if you are showing your car. Let me know and we can setup a place to meet. Probably the easiest place would be at the overpass on the Bruce Highway just opposite Bunnings there at Carseldine. Anyone else coming from the northside and knows where this is is also most welcome to meet there too. Man I can't wait for this to come around!!!

I would say at about 8am. Shouldn't take more than Half hour to get there from there.

Ok, I've found somewhere that could do breakfast. I rang them and it should be ok. It's called Acquolina. If anyone is interested in meeting for breakfast at 8 (they don't open before) please pm me.

If so I'll bring in the clan.

I think 8 will only work for non-entrants as we need to muster the MINIs from about 8:30am

We might try and meet you all for Coffee after your breaky though - I should be free by about 9:45 at the latest

BTW, the other place to check for breakfast at Portside would be Shea Le La - might be a bit cheaper than Aqualinos too (Aqualinos is pretty swanky I think

Is there a prize at the Show and Shine for who took the longest to clean the car.

Five and half hours later and just starting to pack up all the associated cleaners, polishes, etc, etc all over the driveway and it starts to rain!!! We should call clubMINI the droughtbusters!!

A new member to the MINI community will be turning up tomorrow... namely being me ;-) although my MINI will be somewhere between the port of Brisbane and the great guys and gals at Mororline MINI (shameless plug there to hopefully push my MINI though for a quicker delivery.. is the artist reading? ;-)
Anyhoo - I will be bringing the DSLR tomorrow so can help some of you out with some nice pics of your MINIs!

Acquolina is pricey ...nice...very nice..but pricey

spent 3 hours cleaning my car today, went to work tonight, came out and it was pooring, now theres streak marks all over my car >.< nooooooooo
See ywas in like 7 hours, man i should go sleep
