Hi Guys I'm heading down to canberra to pick up my clubman, and was thinking that it I'd like to finally meet some of you guys.

Thinking perhaps monday night dinner??

do you know of a good motel in canberra, preferbably a safe place as I will have a car trailer ( that I intend to drop off as we will go to the parliment house, aswell as the war museum etc.....

Where abouts are you collecting the car from, and does it matter if the hotel is nearer to that, or the city???

6 Warner Place, Holder ACT 2611 is where the mini pick up is, doesn't really worry me, the suburb will probably be a bit safer than middle of the city

Possible trailer friendly options:
Motel Monaro
Telopea Inn on the Park
Canberra Lyneham Motor Inn
Medina Classic
Embassy Motel

They're all in or around the budget price range. Some of the places on Northbourne Ave in Braddon/Civic could be good in that they would most likely have under cover parking, just not sure what the deal would be with the trailer though. Best to call a few places and see.

If you get really stuck you could probably leave your trailer at our place, which has been done before.

Good question.

I need to speak to Brett to see what time he wants to drop the car off. But given that will probably need to be around 6pm so I can get there after work, I'm guessing we'll mosey on to All Bar Nun shortly after that. On that basis, pencil in 7pm and I'll let you know if anything changes.
