Offline | clubMINI Queensland Byron Bay weekend A road-trip weekend away is in the planning for clubMINI Queensland and we would certainly welcome any NSW friends who want to join us for the weekend of 27 - 28 October. I have spent today looking into accommodation and have decided on Byron Sunseeker Motel and details available at www.byronsun.com.au. A double room will cost $130 per night and I can get prices for other configurations if you want to share with some friends as they also have two rooms options available. The weekend will involve a drive over the Lions Den Road to Nimbin and then into Byron Bay around lunch time. Hopefully activities will involve a BBQ dinner and Sunday has heaps of activities available including visit to the lighthouse, markets, beachtime, etc. Can you please PM me if you might be interested in joining this weekend away as I need to book accommodation IMMEDIATELY and need to know how many rooms to book. More details will follow soon. |

Offline | Last chance to book accommodation I need to know if anyone else needs accommodation for the Byron Bay roadtrip. We are staying at Byron Bay Sunseeker Motel for $130 per night in a double or $145 per night in a twin room. See details online at Byron Sunseeker Motel I have reservations for 8 rooms so far and have been in touch with all concerned. If anyone else is coming I need to add before Monday 15 October so let me know this week as full payment needs to be sent down. It will be a great drive via the Lions Den Road with a few stops along the way to have a bite to eat and settle the tummy. Dinner will be a BBQ so plenty of time to mix and mingle and maybe a surprise on Sunday morning still being worked on. If you want to come on the drive and organise your own accommodation certainly let me know for catering purposes for the clubMINI supplied BBQ. |

Offline | So far I have booked 8 rooms plus Sunnybanker who is staying elsewhere so that makes 9 cars. Is anyone coming just for the day or even the weekend and forgot to tell me?? Just done the recce today - 500km round trip from my house. Found a great spot for morning tea at Ripples On the Creek www.ripplesonthecreek.com.au plus lunch will be at Byron Bay at Fresh (see sample menu at www.byronfresh.com.au) The the scenery is green and beautiful after the recent storms and the roads are twisty so please let me know if I need to book extra spaces for morning tea and lunch if anyone else is thinking of coming along. |
