Offline | Yes, very good road in the Mini. I did it in a transport on a navigational rally. Had a fresh set of Yokohama Advans on the car, catching a Lotus Elan (60's model) with an S2000 catching me! We were driving through the windy bit through the forest, not exceeding the speed limit, but still much quicker than I would have considered doing on road tyres. Good fun but as I should point out as always drive within your liits, the limits of the car, and the limits of the road conditions. ![]() Feb 02 R50 |

| Keeping The Top Off! | Photo's should be on there way this weekend, unfortunately I have been a bit busy over the last few months. But I should get to it this week. At the moment we have no planned drive day this month, it all depends on what happens at the AGM on Wednesday. I hope that you are coming along! Doncaster on Wednesday. The club should have a full calendar next year so watch this space. The GOR run will probably happen in Feb, so keep your diary free! :-) Roo OH MY OH MY! I own a Sidewalk!Almost......... |

Offline | First Drive for 2008 Hi clubMINI gang, Great drive today (my brunch didn't arrive, but that's okay). It was excellent to see so many cool cars together. We hit a few new roads today (for me at least, sheltered childhood?!?). I'll be hitting them again in the near future to have a bit more fun!!! ![]() It was cool to get up close to R56 JCW's too.... Looking forward to the next drive already!! |

| Nil Time et Facte Recte | +1 to the above Great drive today - thanks for making me welcome - ![]() Thoroughly enjoyed the roads and cars - but like Gok4rt- my brunch did not arrive, and since I had to be somewhere at 1230 - I had to do a runner. Not too worry, the coffee was certainly adequate! Looking forward to the next gathering. Cheers, Tony |

Offline | Hi Michael, Missed the detour to the wrong cafe... 4 of us (including Tony, aka Nil Time) fell back from your group, so we got to the right cafe. We were a little confused about what happened to you guys. Thanks again for a great drive. |
